What makes it special
A real wind-up music movement sits hidden inside the wooden body. The lid opens like a grand piano, and a butterfly and a dragonfly are mounted on fine wooden arms above the keyboard, so the whole piece reads as an ornament rather than a model.
Build experience
An intermediate build from laser-cut sheets - self-assembly, no glue or chemicals needed. The music movement drops into the body near the end, so the first turn of the crank comes as the reward for finishing.
Display & decor value
Small enough for a bedside table, a bookshelf or a desk, and detailed enough to read as an ornament rather than a toy. The natural laser-cut wood suits most interiors without competing with them.
Gift suitability
A good gift for musicians, model builders, and anyone who likes an object that does something - pianists especially, and anyone drawn to the butterfly detail.

Before you order
How long will it take to arrive?
We prepare your order in 1-3 business days and delivery takes 7-15 business days. Your kit ships directly from our maker in China, which is how we keep shipping free on every order. You will receive tracking where available.
Will I be charged customs or duty?
European Union: import VAT applies. On orders under EUR 150 we pay the flat customs duty for you.
United States: since 29 August 2025 there is no duty-free allowance, so duty applies to every order and is collected by the carrier.
United Kingdom: no customs duty under GBP 135, but VAT applies.
We would rather you know this before you buy than be surprised at the door.
Do I need glue, paint or tools?
No. Every part is laser-cut to friction-fit, so the kit goes together by hand with no glue, no chemicals and no tools.
Is it suitable for a beginner?
This is an intermediate build - recommended for ages 14 and up. If it is your first wooden kit you can still manage it; just give yourself an unhurried afternoon rather than rushing.
What if a part is missing or damaged?
Email us at nobilrashop@gmail.com and we will sort it out. Returns are accepted within 30 days, unused and in the original packaging - please contact us first so we can approve the return.
Does it really play music?
Yes. A metal wind-up movement sits inside the wooden body - no batteries, no electronics. You wind it by hand and it plays.
