Collection: Mechanical Models

Mechanical wooden creations selected for detail, movement, character, and display-worthy presence.

A mechanical model does something once it is finished. The Marble Run lifts four steel balls on a hand-cranked gear wheel and sends them looping back down. The Owl Clock keeps time on a quartz movement, with a pendulum swinging beside a zodiac dial. The Mechanical Airship carries a Victorian gondola and steering wheel, and the Vintage Locomotive is a 247-piece study that runs 47.6 cm long on its own section of laid track.

All four are laser-cut, friction-fit builds for ages 14 and up, with no glue required. Expect an absorbing intermediate or advanced session rather than a quick afternoon — and a finished object people reach for rather than simply look at.
